On Series of Bomb Blasts in Delhi The National Executive expresses its deep shock and anguish on the killing and injuring of innocent citizens in the recent series of blasts in Delhi. The perpetrators of this crime have not only committed this ghastly act t to terrorise Delhi Public but the objective is to divide the society on communal lines and trigger communal riots. These blasts have exposed the utter failure of intelligence services. The police action in encounter with suspects of the blasts has apparently brought some relief to the terrorized people. But the caution in dealing with the situation is utmost necessary not to allow the alienation of particular communities or religious groups in any such actions. The NE expresses its heartfelt condolences to the families victims of these blasts and the family of police personnel Mohan Chand Sharma who succumbed to the bullets in encounter with the suspects of terrorist attack. We call upon the people to maintain peace and harmony to defeat the objectives of terrorists as well as of those forces who would want to take advantage of the situation to spread communal venom. The NE urges upon the government to take appropriate measures in revamping security at public places to avert such inhuman acts.
